I just started reading the book for summer reading and I was interested in the fact that it was a bio, a book with real feelings. I haven't got far but already I learned so much and I'm falling in love with it. I wish I could've met them but i know when my time comes I will but for now god bless their living family and let their souls rest in peace!

I loved the movie Having our say, the Delany Sisters the first one hundred years. Their stoutnes, tenasity, and ability to live life to the fullest was of great importance in a time that was difficult for Negro Americans to do so. They should be the example all Americans both Black and White and all of different races and nationalities should try to follow. God Bless You Bessie and Sadie.

Do you have a listing of venues in Dallas-Fort Worth area that will be showing this play? I can not make it to Desoto where it is currently running before it closes.

I found the book at a neighborhood free shop. I have read it about 100 times. I keep it next to my bed. I have the video from tv and watch it all the time. I love these ladies and wish I knew more about them. They are incredible. Love them.

On the main page you put Sadie as being 104 but she is the one who lived to be 109. Bessie lived to be 104.

Please produce a DVD! I would like to buy this for my library here at Erie Community College. It is being used in an African American history course.
